Stacking systems Operating Principle
Automation
Short description of a stacking system
The blanks are taken over from a stamp, coil shears or cutting press by means of conveying belts or adapted removal systems and are fully automatically passed over to a hanging transportation.
The hanging transportation with ferromagnetic blanks is realised by means of special electrically switchable magnetic systems. With magnetic neutral blanks the hanging transportation is realised by means of special vacuum systems.
When a blank is in the area of the stacking position the blank is thrown off by means of a sorting and tracking control. The stops and guides ensure an exact positioning of the blank on the blank stack.
After achieving the declared number of pieces on the stack of blanks, the system switches over to a second stacking position to ensure a continuous production process. The stack of blanks is fully automatically discharged out of the stacking system by means of various pallet conveying systems and are passed over to blank transport carriages or other transport equipment.
